The end of summer is here and with that comes leaving the cottage behind and looking ahead to the realities of school and sport registration.

September 24th is the big date on the AOA Calendar for the AOA ROGERS GOLF TOURNAMENT & APRES AOA REUNION. Registration for the AOA Rogers Golf Tournament is coming along nicely and people are excited about the REUNION. Our slideshow is currently being built by a high school communications wiz who is super keen to bring our slides and archives to life! Most certainly we are having fun sorting through the alumni records -- the outfits alone are worth admission!

September also means signing the kids up for programs, whether it is at your club, your school or, for those in Toronto, at FITS in the newly created Alpine Development Dryland Program. Information on this specific program designed by AOA Fitness Director Dr. Lam is now online under the Fitness pages with details below.

September 18th will be the AOA Fitness Testing at a new location – University of Toronto Athletic Centre. The schedule is outlined below and the fitness pages are being updated online this week with new testing protocols supplied by Dr. Lam.

October 15-16th is the AOA Coaches Conference to be hosted at Georgian Peaks. Details on speakers and topics are outlined below. Heather Metzger is leading this event and will be releasing more information as the event approaches.

University of Vermont's David Donaldson won silver and CAST Prospect athlete Madison Irwin bronze in the Slalom races held last week in Coronet Peak, New Zealand.
